The English Regions Equality and Human Rights Network (EREN) invites you to attend an exciting one-day conference titled, Delivering Equality in the English Regions: Opportunities and Challenges.
- What should equality and human rights practitioners in the English regions be doing to prepare for the legislation?
- What does the Equality Bill mean for the English regions?
- What innovative equality and human rights work is happening in the English regions?
Confirmed speakers include Jonathon Rees, Director-General of the Government Equalities Office and Amanda Ariss, Chief Executive of the Equality and Diversity Forum.
As well as hearing from leading experts in equality, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and meet colleagues from other regions. There will also be workshops to showcase ‘good practice’ equality and human rights work from the English regions, providing a space for sharing ideas, learning and future collaboration.
